SCANGRIP Since 1906

Scangrip's history started more than 100 years ago in a small blacksmith shop. Since the company has developed rapidly, and today, Scangrip appears as an international and innovative company with a very strong product range for the industrial and the automotive sectors.

Scangrip has been manufacturing some of the market's strongest, most functional pliers since 1946. Our one-hand-operated locking pliers are known for their unique quality that lasts a lifetime.

Scangrip has been making MAGNEFIX protective vice jaws since 1959 and is the world's biggest manufacturer in this special niche today with a comprehensive range of products.

A strong name in the automotive industry

In 2004, Scangrip took over Canvik, thereby adding more than 30 years' experience in the development and production of coil spring compressors and disc brake lathes. Canvik products are known throughout the world as high quality, specialized tools with the focus on user-friendliness and safety.

Innovative, user-friendly electronic products

In 2008, Scangrip took over EP Powervision which since 1989 has manufactured high quality electronic products for industrial applications and for commercial vehicles. The company's main products are ULTRASONIC - user-friendly ultrasonic systems for detecting leaks and mechanical trouble-shooting, and CARGOWATCH - a series of innovative weighing systems for commercial vehicles.

Prepared for the future

In 2008, Scangrip established its own factory in China with Danish management, and thus, we are also in the future prepared to offer competitive products of the same high quality as we have always been known for.
