Your privacy has a high priority for us. The largest part of our website can be visited without providing any information that is personally identifiable. There are, however, parts of the website and our web shop where we need information that is personally identifiable so that we can provide the services and products that you might request. This personal information includes the name of your company, address, email address, credit card information etc.

We may collect information about what kind of browser and operation system you are using when visiting our website and web shop. We may also collect IP addresses and information about your internet service provider when you visit our website and web shop. Scangrip may use this information to communicate with you, in matters that regard ecommerce, billing, shipping or other administrative activities. When a user on our site enters sensitive personal information, such as credit card information in our web shop, this information is encrypted. We safeguard all personal information with physical and electronic means. We follow the latest security standards to be able to protect the data in the best possible way. Terms and Conditions of ONLINE Sales and Delivery for WEB SHOP

Payment Conditions
Goods ordered online are to be payed by credit card. You can choose between the following credit cards: Dankort, Visakort, Visa Electron, MasterCard or American Express. The due amount will not be withdrawn from you account before the goods have been dispatched. All prices are in USD. We use a safe and reliable online credit card payment solution which ensures a safe transaction. The payment software has been approved by PBS International and PBS. Additionally, we satisfy the card organisations’ national and international security requirements PCI standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). The PCI standard applies to everyone who processes card data.

Delivery
Immediately after receipt of your online order we will provide you with an order confirmation by email. When we dispatch the goods from our premises we will provide you with an invoice by email covering the goods ordered.

The goods ordered online will be dispatched from our premisses within 24 hours of working days.

Charges
For customers in the USA all charges to customs clearance are included in the price and will be handled by Scangrip.

For customers outside USA the goods are sold uncleared.

As you import the goods from Denmark there are no tax added.

Shipment
All products bought online will be handled and shipped by DHL Express World-Wide.

Time of shipment will be approx. 2 working days. For some distant countries the shipment will last up to max. 5 working days.

If you buy for more than USD 1,000 the goods will be delivered free of charge. Otherwise, you have to pay for freight depending on the weight of the product according to the following rates:

0-10 kgs: USD 76.00
10-15 kgs: USD 80.00
15-25 kgs: USD 85.50
25-50 kgs: USD 114.00
50-100 kgs: USD 133.00
100-200 kgs: USD 190.00
Above 200 kgs: USD 285.00

The actual weight of the product you order will appear from the product description in question.

Discount
If the total amount exceeds USD 3,000 we deduct a discount of 30%.
If the total amount exceeds USD 10,000 please request for a special quote.

Reservations
Scangrip makes reservation on goods sold out, and reserves the right to cancel any order, if, contrary to expectation, the goods are unavailable. Also, we make reservation on any delay in deliveries from our suppliers and delays caused by the shipping company. Prices are subject to change without notice. Nor is responsibility assumed for any mistakes, typing or printing errors on the website.

Right of Cancellation
Legally you have 14 days’ right of cancellation for all internet trade. The 14 days are calculated from the day you receive the goods. Within this period you are allowed to return the goods, provided the goods are received saleable without any damage in the original packaging. You are also allowed to return the goods by refusing the reception of the goods. You have to pay the shipping costs and all other costs related to the returning of the goods. Scangrip will refund the full amount not later than 30 days after receipt of the goods. The goods should be returned to: SCANGRIP A/S, Rytterhaven 9, DK-5700 Svendborg, Denmark.

For all other conditions of sales and delivery, we refer to our general terms.

General Terms and Conditions of Sales and Delivery

The following conditions apply for all business transacted with our company. No specific conditions shall apply unless specifically agreed in writing by us.

Prices

The prices stated in the price list shall be valid from the date of issue and shall replace all previous price lists. All prices shown are net exclusive VAT but inclusive normal packaging for shipping. We make reservations for any printing errors and reserve the right to adjust the prices without further notice. Orders will be confirmed at prices valid the date on receipt. Is delivery agreed more than 30 days later we reserve the right to charge prices valid on the date of shipping.

Minimum order value

For orders with a value less than € 300 we charge a handling fee of € 20.

Time of Delivery

Scangrip A/S will endeavour to meet all delivery dates but shall not be liable for any delay in dispatch or any loss occasioned thereby.

Terms of Delivery

Deliveries will be effected ex works. Except where otherwise specified, any risk of loss, deterioration, misdelivery and damage shall pass to the customer. Please note, that transport insurance is not arranged by us nor included in our transport cost. The customer shall examine the goods immediately upon delivery and shall notify Scangrip A/S of any shortage within fourteen business days.

Return of Goods

Reception of goods returned will only be accepted according to prior agreement. Please always contact our order handling department on phone +45 63 20 63 20 or by email scangrip@scangrip.com and receive a REGISTRATION NUMBER FOR RETURN GOODS. Reception of goods returned will only be accepted if the goods are accompanied with a registration number for return goods, a copy of the invoice covering the goods and a description of the reason for returning the goods. Otherwise, the goods will be sent back to the consignor without further notice.

Return goods will only be accepted provided the goods are received saleable in original packaging. For preparing a credit note we deduct 15% from the invoice total in order to cover handling and inspection costs.

Articles made to Customers’ specifications
For orders made to customers’ specification we reserve the right to deliver the quantities +/- 10%. Merchandise specially manufactured cannot be returned.

Payment

To be confirmed. New orders and back orders will not be shipped/produced for accounts with overdue balances.

Property of the Goods

Until complete settlement of the goods delivered it remains the property of Scangrip A/S. Until the date of payment the customer shall maintain adequate records inrelation to the goods and store the good in such a way that they are clearly identifiable as the property of Scangrip A/S. If the customer enters into any composition with its creditors, enter into liquidation,fails to make payment under this agreement or in the opinion of Scangrip A/S is unable to pay its debts then, with prejudice to the right of Scangrip A/S to repossess goods. Scangrip A/S shall have the right without prior notice and to enter any premises for the purpose of such repossession, to cancel any undelivered goods and stop any goods in transit. Scangrip A/S may sue the customer for overdue payments notwithstanding that property in the goods may not have passed to the customer.

Warranty

Scangrip A/S warrants only that the goods shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship upon delivery. If any failure to meet the warranty mentioned shall appear during the periodof twelve (12) calendar months after delivery of the goods to the end-user, the customer shall notify Scangrip A/S. If the alleged defect exist Scangrip A/S shall, at its own discretion, either repair or replace the defective part or parts in order to remedy the defect or refund the purchase price of defective part or parts.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Agreement shall for all purposes be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
